Account Manager

We are growing our sales team and looking for an Account Manager! The Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce is a business association of economic development champions. As the voice of business for the Greater Kitchener Waterloo area, the Chamber is a strong advocate for continued development of our community and a partner for prosperity. As an Account Manager, you will be an integral part of the Chamber’s team that supports businesses in their success and growth.

As the Account Manager you will be responsible for:

• Selling both print and digital advertisements, business memberships, and ShopKW subscriptions
• Managing daily sales activity (i.e. call tracking, etc.)
• Prospecting new business
• Building relationships with the business community through networking
• Managing current portfolio of members (maintaining relationships and selling advertisements)
• Conducting sales presentations

To be successful in this role, you:

• Enjoy prospecting for new business
• Possess excellent phone skills
• Demonstrate excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills
• Goal oriented and are driven to meet targets
• Effectively collaborate with other departments as necessary
• Have customer service and sales experience
• Must have own vehicle and a valid driver’s licence as you will be required to visit clients and attend events within Waterloo Region.
