As we prepare for the 2026 municipal election, the Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce, together with our partner Cornerstone Association of Realtors, wanted to give our business community an opportunity to get to know the candidates putting their names forward to lead our communities.
Through Vision 1 Million, the Chamber has been asking an important question: Are we ready? As Waterloo Region continues to grow, the decisions made by our municipal leaders today will have a significant impact on our businesses, our workforce, our infrastructure and the overall strength of our economy.
To help our members make informed decisions at the ballot box, we invited all mayoral candidates in Kitchener, Waterloo, Woolwich, Wellesley and Wilmot to participate in this video series. Each participating candidate was asked the same questions, developed with input from the Chamber’s business community. Videos below are from candidates who chose to participate.
