The nomination and selection process for the 2016 Business Excellence Awards (BEA) has officially ended as the award winners are now finalized, and will be kept under lock and key until they are announced at the Gala on February 18.
Ever wonder how we determine the winners?
In September, nominations are opened. We ask Chamber members to nominate a business or individual who has made exceptional contributions through their involvement and leadership in the community in one of 10 categories.
Once a nominee accepts the nomination they are required to complete an online submission kit with five category based questions and supporting materials – all nominees are limited to the same word count and number of supporting materials accepted to keep the process fair and consistent.
This year we are thrilled to have over 70 nominations in the following categories:
