Red Day – Sept 2, 2016

Cardiac disease is a leading cause of death among Canadian women – but most are unaware.

Red Day (Friday, September 2nd) is a St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation community awareness event held in conjunction with the ManuLife LPGA Classic. This year we are growing this event beyond the golf course and into the community. We are encouraging local organizations and companies to sign up to host their own Red Day event in their workplaces. We are also working with local community leaders to help spread the message about heart health awareness and supporting our Red Day through social media. (#RedDayFriday)

  • First, we would like to ask for your support to share the Red Day information with your membership and encourage your members to sign up and participate in Red Day. We have built an event page on http://www.supportstmarys.ca/redday/ where companies can register to participate. If you have a moment please take a look at the event page which can help you get a better understanding of what we are trying to accomplish.
  • Secondly, we would like to ask for your assistance to spread the message through social media. We are currently putting together our Red Day social media kits and would like to have the Chamber be part of sharing the Red Day Message.

We welcome the opportunity to work you and the Chamber and look forward to your Red Day participation,
