After a summer of planning the 2015-16 Chamber event season officially kicks off this September with several events scheduled starting with a Point of View Luncheon with Ontario Progressive Conservative Party Leader, Patrick Brown and the Chamber Annual General Meeting.

Point of View Luncheon with Patrick Brown – September 11th

This September we will be joined by the new leader of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party, Patrick Brown, for a Point of View Luncheon. Join us and hear Patrick’s vision for Ontario and catch a glimpse at how his party will act as the Official Opposition when Queen’s Park returns to session in this fall.

Chamber AGM and Home Hardware Business After 5 – September 22nd

Two great networking events. One day. One unique space. Help us welcome the 2015-2016 Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors at our Annual General Meeting on September 22nd starting at 4:00pm at Maxwell’s Concerts & Events in Waterloo.

Immediately following the AGM the kick off Home Hardware Business After 5 will start at 5:00pm at Maxwell’s attracting over 150 fellow Chamber members to network with, not to mention a diverse host of exhibit booths. This is a wonderful opportunity networking opportunity and complimentary for all Chamber members.

9th Annual Inspiring Women Event – September 24th

In less than a month the 9th Annual Inspiring Women Event will return to Waterloo Region and bring over 600 professional women together for a day of inspiration and motivation. It is the largest event in the area designed to celebrate women in business, entrepreneurship and corporate leadership. This year we are pleased to have another outstanding speaker line-up of leading Canadian Women including: Dr. Samantha Nutt, Founder and Executive Director of War Child, Lisa Lisson, President of FedEx Canada, Dr. Karyn Gordon, Founder of dk Leadership, and Kristine Barnett, Author of The Spark.

With the federal election in full swing the Chamber is dedicated to being the voice of business in the Greater Kitchener-Waterloo area and ensure each of the candidates in our four ridings are asked about the issues important to the business community. MNP Networking Breakfast with the Mayors – October 1st

Join us on October 1st for a special MNP Networking Breakfast event with the mayors of our three local municipalities for a panel discussion on their priorities for their community and Waterloo Region.
