The Region of Waterloo has established the Waterloo Region Economic Development Corporation (WREDC) in order to collaboratively support the ongoing prosperity of our community across the Region. Now that all partnering municipalities in Waterloo Region have approved the WREDC they are now taking applications for those interested in forming the inaugural Board of Directors for the WREDC.
For those interested in lending their skills and expertise to the first WREDC Board of Directors must fill out the online application before February 25th. Once you have your CV/Resume prepared the application should only take about 5 minutes to complete.
The formation of the WREDC is a major step for our Region’s business community and ongoing prosperity. If you believe you or someone you know has the skill to help steer the organization in right direction we encourage you to apply today.
