For over 30 years the Chamber has made environment and sustainability a priority for our business community. As one of the largest business communities in Canada it is always important to remember the impact our businesses have on our environment regardless of whether you’re in manufacturing, retail, financial services, education, or any other business sector found in our Region.
The organization that walks away with the 2015 Environment and Sustainability Award will have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to sustainable development, implemented environmental actions and programs beyond what is legislatively required, discovered energy and waste efficiencies, and provided environmental stewardship, education or innovation in the past year.
