Waterloo Region attracts millions of visitors to our community each and every year through world class events, festivals, attractions, food, and accommodations. Supporting those in the Hospitality and Tourism industry have been part of the Chamber’s focus dating back to the early days of the Berlin, Waterloo, and Elmira Boards of Trade and those businesses and organizations that make our community an attractive place to visit and live here are recognized through the Hospitality and Tourism Award.
The winner of the Hospitality and Tourism Award will have a track record of excellence in the past year through increasing awareness of Waterloo Region as a destination, exceeded customer expectations, demonstrated measureable success and business sustainability, and have made exceptional contribution to promoting community betterment.

As you can see the competition is fierce once again this year with seven extremely strong organizations and businesses that make our community an active and welcoming place to live, work, and play. One of these organizations will join past Hospitality and Tourism Award winners such as Little Mushroom Catering, Bingemans, THEMUSEUM, and Chicopee Ski & Summer Resort.
