Ontario Votes Today

Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce

Today is Election Day in Ontario. A lot of campaigning and rhetoric has been thrown around over the past several weeks, but today you as the voter have the chance to cast your vote and be heard. Regardless of who you vote for, voting is important and I urge each and every eligible voter to find your polling station and vote before 9:00pm tonight.

The Chamber’s recorded Candidate Forums for the 3 ridings in our area and they can be viewed anytime in case you want to check what the candidates have to say whether you’re in the ridings of Kitchener Centre, Kitchener-Waterloo, or Kitchener-Conestoga. We posed business focused questions to candidates of the 4 major parties and received a range of answers that highlight each party’s platform as well as where the candidates stand. Take a look and the Forums if you are still unsure of who you to vote for.

Good luck to all the candidates taking part in today’s election. It takes a lot of effort to put your hand up and run for elected office. We look forward to working with those chosen to represent our community.

Again, polls close at 9:00pm so you still have plenty of time to cast your vote if you haven’t already.
