Waterloo Region is renown for its togetherness as a community that comes together whether than be private or corporate citizens. There are many organizations that are setting out to make a difference in the Region to help every thrive in a constantly changing world. We’re please to present the Non-profit/Charitable Award, sponsored by Borden Ladner Gervais, at the 2014 Business Excellence Awards.

This award is presented to an outstanding non-profit or charitable organization that has achieved excellence through any or all of the following: demonstrated innovative and proactive leadership within the organization or non-profit sector; provided environmental stewardship, education or innovation in the past year; implemented initiative s that have resulted in significant and measurable outcomes benefiting the overall services of the organization; developed the skills, knowledge and performance of its organization and volunteers.

Last year’s winner, the Lyle S. Hallman Foundation, was honoured before a crowd of 800 and this year’s winner will be cheered on by nearly 900 professionals at the 2014 Business Excellence Awards Gala next Thursday. I hope everyone was able to secure a spot at this already SOLD OUT event!
