A happy and engage employee is a productive and loyal employee. As talent acquisition and retention continues to be one of the top priorities for businesses and organizations of all sizes, recognizing those who make employee engagement a hallmark of their values is important to the Chamber. That’s why the Employee Engagement Award is an important part of our annual Gala.

The business or organization that is honoured with the Employee Engagement Award provides training to improve skills, knowledge, safety, and/or performance of their workforce, reduced employment barriers and/or assisted employees who are recent immigrants or those employees with physical, communication, or developmental challenges, and increased productivity through innovative and creative programs or initiatives for their employees.

Here are the four outstanding organizations up for the 2015 Employee Engagement Award:

This is the first year the Employee Engagement Award has been introduced to the Business Excellence Awards Gala as it is a combination of the previous Integration Award and the Professional Development and Workplace Training Award. As in inaugural category this will be one of the most anticipated of the 12 award categories.

For the third year in the row the 2015 Business Excellence Awards Gala is sold out with over 900 set to attend. Thank you so very much to everyone who comes out on Thursday and to all of our amazing sponsors for making Gala possible. See you there!
