Kitchener, ON – The Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with 570 News, has organized a set of four Federal Election Candidate Forums for the ridings of Kitchener Centre, Kitchener-Conestoga, Kitchener South-Hespler, and Waterloo. The Chamber Candidate Forums aim to bring the business community’s questions and concerns front and centre before the candidates in order to understand where each party and candidate stands on the issues important to business.
“The Chamber Federal Election Candidate Forums is the business community’s opportunity to stand up and ask each major political party and their candidates to put forth their stance on issues of importance to Waterloo Region businesses,” says Greater KW Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Ian McLean.
The Federal Election Candidate Forums will be held in locations throughout Waterloo Region on separate dates. Below are the times and locations of the 4 Candidate Forums:
Monday, September 28th – 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Waterloo Region Police Association, 1128 Rife Rd, Cambridge
Tuesday, September 29th – 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Woolwich Memorial Centre, 24 Snyder St. S., Elmira
Wednesday, September 30th – 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Kitchener City Hall Rotunda, Kitchener
Thursday, October 1st – 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Centre for International Governance Innovation, 67 Erb St. W., Waterloo
Chamber members are encouraged to submit questions that will be asked of the candidates, to either our CEO/President, Ian McLean or our V.P. of Advocacy, Art Sinclair.

These Candidate Election Forum will be live streamed and recorded for future listening for all constituents in the Greater Kitchener Waterloo area. Admission is free, space is limited.
